    Frustration!

    This week I worked really hard to stay in my points each day and exercise ( 4x this week). However when I stepped on the scale this morning all my high hopes and hard work seemed to be for not as I gained 2 lbs. This is so frustrating to me because I feel like I have been doing all the right things, and I gained weight. It drives me crazy. The only things I can think of that I need to change are the weekends, when I generally dont count points and give myself more free range of what I eat, but I also try to get plenty of exercise to compensate for my indulgence. This apparently isnt working and I need to more careful about what I eat on the weekends. They other thing is maybe I haven't been counting my snacks for the right amount of points. I thought I had been doing pretty well in this area, but maybe not? I always write down everything i eat and at the end of the day I am never over my points, in fact many days I am under. I just really want to get to my goal weight and days like today make me feel like I will never make it happen. :(

    Mel, I totally feel your pain!!  I too count points and it can be sooo disappointing to spend the energy counting and calculating everything that goes in your mouth.  BUT, I say keep it up!!  It will pay off!  You may not think that right now, but it will.  Your body is adjusting to your new way of life!!  Keep it up!! -Annette

    Must have been the week since we didn't do so hot either. I'd like to think it was muscle but my gut (ha ha) tells me it was going out to eat and not being as careful as I should have. I hate to exercise just so I can have extra but I've come to terms with that if I want extra I'll have to work it off first. Oh Well. Annette and I are determined to make this a better week - so keep at it. Isn't it funny that when we loose we want it to be big and that 2 lbs never seems enough to loose but when you gain it - it feels like 10! C-ya next week.

    Hang in there and don't give up.  We all have our days but we gotta stay strong and stick with it.  You might have gained muscle weight or like they said above water weight or you could have been bloated.  You're doing great.  Keep your head and continue to do the FANTASTIC job you are doing because your a FANTASTIC person.  Don't let 2 lbs get you down.  Remember someone else out there has it worse than you and would kill to be in your shoes.  Have a great weekend!

    You'll get there!  Don't give up.  Maybe you were bloated, had water weight?  It'll be fine.  Don't get discouraged.  Journal your food and keep up all the hard work.  It'll pay off in the end cuz you're gonna look great.  People like you make me work harder to win! :)
